Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at admin@estatesfootballclub.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.

You will be able to register by going to PlayFootball and following the prompts.

You will then receive an email from Football Queensland within 24 hours requiring you to complete your Squadi profile to finalise the registration process.

All registrations are completed online through PlayFootball and Squadi. Whilst everyone is welcome to attend, Sign-On Days are primarily focused for players who are new to the club. Our friendly committee members will be available to provide all the support you need and answer any questions you may have.

Trainings are held any day of the week from Monday to Thursday. We encourage specific age groups to train on set days, however please by mindful that this will also depend on both the coach's and park availability.

All junior games (including MiniRoos and Juniors) are held at 1300 Smiles Active Park (formerly known as Brolga Park), Murray Sporting Complex in Annandale on Saturdays. Game times will become available once Football Queensland Northern have finalised a draw for the season. Games are played in either mornings or afternoons.

Football Queensland Northern have released the 2025 Playing Season Calendar that will provide you some more details as to when games will be played.

Games for MiniRoos and Juniors are scheduled to commence from Friday 28th February – please refer to the 2025 Playing Season Calendar for details.

There is a gate fee of $5 for Adults and $4 for Pensioners. Players and children are free. Additionally, registered Coaches and Managers (on presentation of their lanyard) are also free. Football Queensland Northern also offer a Season Pass for $80 (or $70 for pensioners) - this also includes discounts for coffee and canteen on ground, as well as some of the affiliated sponsors.

2025 Fees as follows:

MiniRoos (Ages 5 to 11) = $385.00
MiniRoos (Age 12) = $404.00

Juniors (13 to 18) = $445.00

Seniors (19+) = $474.00

NOTE: The above prices may vary dependent on competition requirements and determinations as handed down by Football Queensland

A large portion of the registration fee goes to the affiliated governing bodies (Football Queensland Northern, Football Queensland, Football Federation Australia) and provides protection by way of insurance as a player within the Football Queensland Northern competition and to train at the club. A smaller portion of your fee goes to the club to enable us to provide the excellent football experience you deserve.

For 2025, as part of a players registration they will receive a club training shirt. Playing shorts and socks will be available for purchase from the clubhouse.

During the registration process, you will be prompted to select the size of your apparel. Please take your time when making your selections, as no exchanges will be allowed in the event you choose an incorrect size.

To assist you further, please refer to our Apparel Size Guide for a detailed chart and step by step instructions.

2025 will see the club use the Squadi system passed down by Football Queensland. In 2025, all registrations must be paid for either:

a) in full through Squadi at the time of registration, or

b) Payment Plan initiated through Squadi during the registration process.

Registrations will not be considered for approval until either payment in full is received, or you have entered into a Payment Plan.

Estates provide teams with playing shirts to use for the season. Playing Shorts and Playing Socks are available for purchase from the clubhouse. It is also compulsory for players to wear shin pads for games and training. Caps, watches and jewellery cannot be worn during games or training, however bucket (soft brim) hats are acceptable.

Football Queensland Northern offer an all-girls competition for the following age groups:

- Under 8/9

- Under 10/11

- Under 12/13

- Under 14-17

Yes, it is preferred. If the club gets enough female numbers to create a team in the above age groups, we recommend they play in a girls team as a priority. Female players do have the option to play in a mixed team but will be required to follow the process for that age group (i.e. trial if required). We are committed to the development of females footballers at all levels of the game, from grassroots to seniors.

Throughout pre-season (February) we will arrange for players to be sorted into teams. Where possible, Estates will look to keep teams who played together in previous years. Depending where possible shortfalls exist, new players will be added into pre-existing teams or alternatively if numbers suffice, new teams will be created.

Yes. All registered Coaches and Managers will receive a lanyard for free entry to 1300 Smiles Active Park. As mentioned above, discounts also apply to registration fees for coaches.

Additionally, team Coaches will also receive a free Polo Shirt, which will be available for collection from the clubhouse prior to the first game of the season.

No. Estates will provide all of the training and support that is required. We are committed to skilling our coaches and managers; we will seek to provide further assistance to help you complete training courses and obtain qualifications. You will be required to obtain a Blue Card if you partake in one of these positions and is required before you can start coaching or managing your team.

If you are interested in becoming a coach or manager, please contact us.

By all means please come and speak to a committee member or email the club with the details so someone can get in contact with you. If we do not know about it, we are unable to assist.
