MiniRoos, Juniors & Youth

Estates have teams available for children of all ages including, and we are committed to providing a fun, positive and welcoming atmosphere whilst also focusing on the development of our players.

MINIROOS
MiniRoos is designed for kids of all abilities, aged 5 - 11 years. The nation-wide initiative, uses short game-based sessions to introduce the sport of football to newcomers in an inclusive way; designed to meet the needs of the players who have different developmental characteristics and needs to adult players. It focuses on learning new skills, being active, making life-long friends and, potentially, unearthing the next generation of Socceroos or Matildas.
 
JUNIORS
Juniors marks the introduction of competitive football andis for players of all abilities, aged 12 - 15 years. These age groups are generally split into A, B & C pools following the grading period at the beginning of each season. Our objective is to provide an environment that will see our junior players flourish as they progress their development towards Youth and Senior football.
 

REPRESENTATIVE PATHWAYS
In addition to our Academy, Estates passionately support the further development of players through Football Queensland Academy (FQA) - previously Talent Support Program (TSP) and Skill Acquisition Phase (SAP).

Players aged 9 to 12 are invited to trial for the FQA program which focuses on the development of game-related functional skills, while the Talent Support Program provides a quality training environment for players aged 13 to 16.

Both programs provide 30 weeks of high quality coaching, overseen by FFA qualified coaching staff. Players will also be provided opportunities to participate in a number of local, regional and state carnivals throughout the year; providing an opportunity to test their skills against the most talented young footballers from other parts of Queensland.
