ABOUT LIFE MEMBERSHIP

Each candidate for Honorary Life Membership shall be proposed in writing by two Members of the Association (Estates) at least two weeks prior to the annual general meeting in any year and such proposal shall be addressed to the Management Committee which shall have power to accept or reject a proposal without assigning any reason for such rejection.
 

If any proposal for life membership is accepted by the Management Committee it shall then be placed on the agenda for the succeeding annual general meeting, provided that not more than one Honorary Life Member shall be created in any one financial year.
 

Honorary Life Membership entitles the holder and companion to admission to socials or other functions conducted by the Association in addition to the ordinary rights of membership.
 

All Honorary Life Members shall be presented with a medallion or badge which shall not be transferable. If any life member shall lose their medallion or badge they shall report the matter to the Management Committee which upon being satisfied as to such loss may issue a further medallion or badge at the expense of the Honorary Life Member.
